The conference will take place at the Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom).
The conference will be held in selected building from the Northumbria University and are presented on the picture below.

By train
the nearest railway station is Newcastle Central Station which is linked to the Airport by Metro

By boat
Car ferry services operate direct to Tyneside from Scandinavia. The North Shields International Ferry Terminal at Royal Quays is approximately seven miles east of Newcastle via the A1058 and A19 and is well signposted.
There are bus services from the terminal building to Newcastle City Centre, which operate directly after the arrival of each ferry. There is a taxi rank at the ferry terminal. The nearest Metro Station is Percy Main, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the terminal building.
§ Fjord Line undertakes sailing to Norwegian Ports of Bergen and Stavanger all year round.
§ DFDS Seaways sail from Gothenburg in Sweden via Kristiansand, and IJmuiden (Amsterdam), in the Netherlands to Newcastle all year round.

The ferry terminal for all sailings is the International Ferry Terminal, Royal Quays, North Shields.

ACCOMODATION
Accommodation has been arranged for delegates at three hotels within easy
reach of the conference venue. All rooms should be booked online through the
official booking website at www.MIP.visitNewcastleGateshead.com to ensure
you book a rooms assigned to delegates. All rooms must be booked by 22nd
December 2005. Hotels in NewcastleGateshead tend to get extremely busy so
you are advised to make your booking well in advance.
